This statistic presents the sexual and nonsexual cyber dating abuse perpetration rates among teens in a current or recent relationship, by gender. During the 2012 survey, it was found that 9.3 percent of teenage males and 13.9 percent of teenage females had perpetrated cyber dating abuse within a relationship. Sexual cyber dating abuse includes activities such as the sending or taking of unwanted naked pictures while nonsexual cyber abuse includes activities such as the unauthorised use of the victim's social networking account.
