This graph shows the number of passenger journeys taken on buses in the whole of England between 2004/2005 and 2017/2018, in million journeys. For the entire region, the number of journeys in 2013/2014 was much higher than in 2004/2005. However, since then there has been an annual decrease in the number of passengers travelling by bus. The situation was the same in London, where passenger numbers have also seen a decrease.
