EasyJet is a British low-cost airline, founded in 1995, with headquarters at London Luton Airport in the United Kingdom (UK). EasyJet's flights include national and international destinations. In 2017, easyJet UK Ltd joined the easyJet Airline Company Ltd Group. This addition made it UK's biggest airline in terms of passengers transported in 2022.The British airline has grown immensely in recent years. However, it was greatly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020, EasyJet reported a decrease of about 53 percent in annual revenue, which amounted to three billion British pounds. In addition, a net loss of a billion British pounds was recorded for the first time in 12 years. However, the company have been recovering from the negative effects of the pandemic. In 2022, the annual revenue of EasyJet amounted to 5.8 billion British pounds, which was 616 million less than the 2019 level.
