This statistic shows the public perception of how ethical retailers are in the United Kingdom, according to a survey conducted for the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills in June 2014. There has been much discussion in the UK about how ethical retail companies are, such as how ethically they produce their products and whether their behaviour and decisions follow good principles. Of the respondents, 39 percent believe that retail companies nowadays are not very ethical.
