Twitter: total number of data removal requests as of H2 2018

Between July and December 2018, government agencies, police and courts of a multitude of countries submitted a total of 11,221 content removal requests to the microblogging platform Twitter. The latest Twitter Transparency Report shows that Twitter received approximately eight percent more global legal demands, impacting two percent fewer accounts compared to the previous reporting period.
