Consumers concerned with ethical retail sourcing in the United Kingdom 2014, by age
This statistic shows the share of UK consumers who agree with the statement "it is important to me that retail companies are clear about where they source their raw materials, components or ingredients from", by age. The results of the survey, conducted for the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills in June 2014, shows that those in the higher age brackets tend to be a little more concerned with ethical sourcing in retail than those in the younger age brackets. Of respondents in the 55 to 75 year old age bracket, 63 percent agreed that it is important to them that retail companies are clear about where they source their materials.
