This statistic illustrates monthly figures of gross lending by monetary financial institutions (MFIs) to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the United Kingdom (UK) from April 2018 to March 2020. It can be seen that the monthly value of gross lending fluctuated during this time period, reaching a value of over 5.1 billion British pounds as of March 2020. The largest value of gross lending by MFIs to SMEs during this period was found in February 2019, when gross lending reaching a value of over 5.2 Billion British pounds was recorded.
