GB: online purchasing by location of seller 2008-2020

This statistic shows the location of seller of goods and services for internet purchasing in Great Britain from 2008 to 2020. Throughout the period of consideration, British respondents most commonly reported purchasing online from domestic sellers located in Great Britain. Recently, the share reporting purchasing from sellers located in other European countries rose from 17 percent in 2013 to 25 percent in 2020.

* The source indicates: "The source of this information is the Opinions and Lifestyle Survey (OLS). The OLS is a multi-purpose survey developed by ONS for use by government departments, other public bodies, charities, academics and the media.
