The number of light commercial vehicles (LCVs) sold by Volkswagen in the United Kingdom between January 2016 and December 2020 fluctuated considerably – especially following the Covid-19 outbreak in early 2020. LCVs are commercial vehicles with a gross weight under 3.5 metric tons. During the months here recorded, highest sales were recorded in the months of March and September of each year. This was due to these being the months of the year when the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency issued new registration plates.
