Trusted sources for news on politics and government in the U.S. 2019

According to a November 2019 survey regarding U.S. media polarization, it was found that 48 percent of consumers who had heard of ABC, trusted it as a news source, whereas the lowest ranking source for political news was MSNBC with a 34 percent trust rating.

Respondents were shown grids of 30 news outlets and asked to select the ones that they had heard of. If they had heard of an outlet, they were asked if they trusted it for political and election news. If they didn’t say that they trust an outlet, they were then asked if they distrusted it.
