European buy-side M&A drivers 2023

In the first half of 2023, senior executives from 240 corporate and 90 private equity firms based in Europe, the Americas, and APAC regions were asked what they believe the greatest buy-side drivers of M&A activity will be in Europe over the next 12 months. Undervalued targets and turnaround opportunities will be the greatest buy-side drivers of mergers and acquisitions in Europe throughout the next year, according to industry experts. Almost 36 percent and 35 percent of respondents predicted this, respectively in 2023.
