Canada: female victims of violent crime by accused-victim relationship

In 2019, there were 34,769 female victims of spousal violence in Canada. Among them were 24.7 thousand women that were victimized by their current spouse. In total, the number of female victims of violent crime in Canada amounted to 84.7 thousand.
