This statistic displays the daily consumption of digital and online media in Sweden in 2018. During the survey period, 71 percent of respondents in Sweden stated that they have used social networks on a daily basis. Streaming music ranked second, according to 42 percent of individuals interviewed.

Viewing TV is a good example of changed media use behavior - while the share of Swedish individuals watching television daily decreased from 86 percent in 2010 to 82 percent in 2018, viewing web TV services grew from 21 percent in 2011 to 36 percent in 2018. The same applies to newspapers - the daily reach of online versions increased by tem percent in a time period of ten years, whereas the usage of printed daily press declined highly in Sweden.
