Top UK contemporary artists by auction sales 2023

Between July 2022 and June 2023, Banksy was the contemporary British artist recording the highest auction revenue. As of the period considered, public fine art auctions sold over 1.6 thousand Banksy lots, generating roughly 48.9 million U.S. dollars overall. Cecily Brown and Damien Hirst followed in the ranking, with auction revenues of around 47.7 million and 32.7 million U.S. dollars, respectively.
