This statistic shows the results of a survey concerning the usage rate of paid IT services via cloud computing in companies in Germany in 2016, broken down by company size. During the survey period it was found that roughly 21 percent of responding companies with a workforce of 50 to 249 employees used paid cloud computing services.

The source states that the reporting period was January of the survey year. For the survey that took place in 2016, fieldwork began in February of 2016 with the dispatch of survey documents and ended in mid-July of 2016 with the transfer of raw data from the statistical offices of the individual states to the Federal Statistical Office of Germany.
