This statistic shows the results of a survey on the most popular clothing brands (based on items of clothing owned by respondents) in Germany in 2015. During the survey period it was found that roughly 80.9 percent of respondents owned at least one piece of clothing from Adidas, making it the most popular fashion brand.

This question was phrased by the source as follows: "Here is a list of the brands or clothing producers you stated to know. Please indicate for each brand, whether you own one, several or no pieces of clothing from this brand." (Original German question: "Hier sehen Sie die Ihnen bekannten Marken bzw. Hersteller von Kleidung noch einmal. Bitte geben Sie zu jeder Marke an, ob Sie davon ein oder mehrere Kleidungsstücke besitzen, oder nicht.")
