Percentage of UK elderly driving license holders aged 70 and above 2009–2019
Over the last decade, the percentage of elderly citizens in the United Kingdom who were aged over 70 and held a full car driving license increased by almost 22 percent, from 55 percent in 2009 to 67 in 2019. Although there was a slight dip in license holders among this age group in 2016, this jumped up the following year.
