This indicates a shift towards an older population structure.Finland's total population is projected to grow until 2035, then decline steadily. The population is aging, with an increase in those aged 60 and older. By 2065, people aged 75 and older are expected to exceed one million. Meanwhile, the number of people under 45 is predicted to continually decrease until 2070.
