In 2022, employees in the mining and quarrying sector in the Netherlands worked the largest number of hours per job per year, while employees in the accommodation and food serving industry worked the fewest number of hours on average. Employees in the mining and quarrying sector worked almost 1,750 hours in 2022 on average, while the average working hours per job per year for employees in the accommodation and food serving sector was 947 hours.
