Italian museums online: where to find them on social media
In the 2017-2018 season, most Italian museums had a Facebook account. In fact, 54 percent of museums in Italy claimed to have an institutional account on Facebook. On the other side, 33 percent of institutions claimed to be on Twitter and only 23 percent had an institutional account on Instagram. Among the Italian institutions on Facebook, the Fort Bard in Aosta Valley recorded the highest popularity ranking in 2017. In the 2017-2018 season, most Italian museums had a Facebook account. In fact, 54 percent of museums in Italy claimed to have an institutional account on Facebook.
