CHP fuel use by the food and beverages industry in the UK 2010-2018, by fuel type
This statistic displays the Combined Heat and Power (CHP) fuel use by the food, beverages, and tobacco industry in the United Kingdom (UK) from 2010 to 2018, by fuel type, in gigawatt hours. It shows that the CHP use of renewable fuels in the food, beverages, and tobacco industries increased significantly over this period from 66 gigawatt hours in 2010 to 857 gigawatt hours in 2018. The use of gas oil decreased to only 3 gigawatt hours in 2015, but increased again in 2018 to 39 gigawatt hours.
