This statistic displays the number of new diagnoses of mental health problems in the United Kingdom (UK) armed forces in 2018/19, by military service branch. The Royal Marines showed the lowest number of psychological problems compared to the other three. The Army and the Royal Air Force had the highest numbers of service personnel having been diagnosed with a mental disorder during their service, at 2,403 and 1,008 personnel respectively.
