Benelux: public opinion about free trade 2019

The public opinion of respondents from the Benelux countries regarding free trade was rather unanimous in 2019. Respondents were asked if free trade brings something negative or positive to the mind. As of June 2019, roughly 80 percent of Dutch and respondents from Luxembourg evaluated free trade as something positive. However, such views were slightly less shared in Belgium where, for instance, 22 percent of respondents thought free trade was something negative.
