The statistic shows a number of key statistics relating to energy use and CO2 emissions from data centers in the United States, in 2013 and a forecast of 2020. In 2013, U.S. data centers used some 9 billion U.S. dollars worth of electricity and were responsible for the production of 97 million metric tons of carbon dioxide.
