Indian tea and coffee exports by value 2010-2019

In fiscal year 2019, the export value for Indian tea was about 58 billion rupees. This was lower at about 57 billion rupees for coffee exports from the south Asian country. While this represented a growth of nearly eight percent for tea exports compared to the previous year, it was a loss of over 8.3 percent for coffee. This seemed to be because of torrential rains and flooding in the coffee plantation regions of the country.
