Types of developmental revenue expenditure - India's government 2018
At the end of fiscal year 2018, the budgeted estimate for developmental revenue expenses of India's central and state governments amounted to approximately 19 trillion Indian rupees, out of which the major share, amounting to nearly ten trillion rupees, was allocated towards social and community services. The revenue expenditure refers to expenditure which neither creates assets nor reduces liability.
