This statistic shows the leading techniques used in the U.S. to help optimize emergency department throughput efficiency, according to a survey conducted among hospital and health system representatives during February 2016. It was found that 57 percent of organizations use streamlined registration for arriving patients in order to optimize the throughput efficiency in their emergency department.
