This survey shows the percentage of respondents who feel that a lack of access to care for substance abuse problems in the U.S. is a problem, as of 2016, by personal experience. It was found that 61 percent of those with personal experience with prescription painkiller addiction felt a lack of access to care for people with substance abuse problems was a major problem in the U.S.
