High Street Index: Development during Black Friday period UK 2015-2016
This statistics shows the development of the High Street Index in retail during the Black Friday shopping period in the United Kingdom (UK) between the years 2015 and 2016. While there was an overall increase of 2.7 percent being observed for the whole Black Friday weekend, the increment on Black Friday itself was the highest, amounting to 2.8 percent. The smallest increase was observed on the Saturday after Black Friday, only accounting for 1.2 percent compared to 2015.
