Italy: number of WhatsApp groups among millennials 2015

How many WhatsApp groups do millennials belong to on average in Italy? This was one of the questions of an Ipsos survey. A result of the survey was that 39 percent of the respondents believed to be a member of five to ten WhatsApp groups , while only 35 percent was actually in five to ten groups.

Italians appreciate chat apps

WhatsApp seems to be the leading chat app among Italians. According to data tracked by Walletsaver , the mobile penetration of WhatsApp decreased from 76.4 percent in February 2018 to 67.9 percent in June 2018.  

Data consumption with WhatsApp

As tracked by Walletsaver, the average mobile data consumption of mobile users when using WhatsApp, decreased from 129 megabytes (MB) in January 2018, down to 53 MB in April 2018, and rose to 113 MB in May 2018.
