Renewable energy capacity in Peru 2010-2023
Peru's renewable energy generation capacity has increased by nearly 92 percent between 2010 and 2023, reaching more than 6.7 gigawatts in the latter year. Despite this increase, its installed renewable capacity still lagged far behind that of South American neighbors Chile and Colombia, which reported 14.9 and 12.6 gigawatts in 2021, respectively.
