As of the survey period, Pippo Baudo presented the highest number of editions (10 editions). Moreover, Fabio Fazio ranked second in the list (4 editions). Started in 1951, the Sanremo Music Festival is currently the most popular Italian song competition. Held annually in the Italian city of Sanremo, in Liguria, the festival is broadcasted by RAI, the national public broadcasting company.
