This survey displays the percentage of adults who had or tried to buy health insurance in the U.S. as of 2010 and 2016, by health and income (federal poverty level status). According to the survey conducted, 60 percent of respondents in total found it very difficult or impossible to find a affordable coverage in 2010, while this percentage was reduced to 34 percent in 2016.
