The @MayorofLondon official Twitter account is the most followed political account in the United Kingdom, having attracted nearly 3.3 million followers. Mayor of London Sadiq Khan’s personal account also features in the top ten, coming in at number six with 1.1 million followers. The two accounts largely post similar material, however, the @sadiqkhan handle will remain with Sadiq Khan when he leaves office.
