Number of trucks in use in Japan 2022, by loading capacity
As of March 31, 2022, most trucks and special-purpose vehicles registered for use in Japan had a loading capacity below two tons, adding up to roughly 4.5 million vehicles. Vehicles with a loading capacity below 6.5 tons were mainly for private use.
