This statistic shows the percentage of adults in the U.S. who visited a doctor right away when suffering from select symptoms as of February 2017, by age. It was found that 17 percent of respondents aged 18 to 30 years went to a doctor right away when experiencing back pain, compared to 9 percent of those aged 46 to 60 years.
