Youth by ethnicity who wouldn't seek sexual health services due to parents 2013-2015
This statistic displays the percentage of sexually experienced youth between the ages of 15 and 25, by ethnicity, that would not seek sexual health services because they worry about confidentiality and that their parents might find out. About 14,7 percent of Hispanic youth that were surveyed said that they would not seek sexual health services, while 9,9 percent of Black, non-Hispanic respondents indicated they would not seek services. Confidentiality concerns are a common reason why youth choose not to seek care for sexual or reproductive health services.
