US adults that trust their doctor in prescribing appropriate drugs, by ethnicity
This statistic shows the results of a survey conducted in the United States in February 2017, by ethnicity. U.S. adults were asked if statements regarding trustworthiness of doctors in prescribing prescriptions appropriately applied to them. In total, 39 percent of Black or African American respondents stated that they ask their doctor to inform them thoroughly about the drug and possible adverse effects, while about 45 percent of Hispanic American or Latino respondents ask the same of their doctor.
