This statistic shows the number of times adults with gastrointestinal problems in the U.S. went to a doctor for treatment for their gastrointestinal problems in the past year, as of February 2017, by ethnicity. In total, 24 percent of Hispanic American or Latino respondents had one treatment for gastrointestinal problems, compared to just 13 percent of Black or African American respondents.
