Deaths as a result of ischaemic heart disease in Lithuania 2000-2014
This statistic displays the number of deaths as a result of ischaemic heart disease (IHD) in Lithuania from 2000 to 2014. In 2014, 700 men and 429 women died as a result of ischaemic heart disease, a decrease from 2013. Over the 15 year period the number of deaths among men was significantly higher than the number of deaths among females. The number of male deaths peaked in 2003 and 2005 at 874, whereas the number of female deaths peaked in 2001 at 572 deaths.
