Reasons to create a profile on social media in Italy 2015
This statistic illustrates the reasons for creating a social network profile among the Italian population aged 18 and older in 2015. According to this study, the two main motives behind the use of social networks were keeping in touch with friends and contacting old ones, shared respectively by nearly 30 and 20 percent of respondents. Only 3.6 percent of respondents used their profiles for career-related purposes such as self-promotion and strengthening of relationships at work.
