Average daily time spent on social media in Italy 2015
This statistic represents the average daily time spent on social networks by Italian social media users aged 18 and older in 2015. One in four Italians spent between 30 and 60 minutes per day using social media. An even greater share (above 37 percent) of users aged over 65 spent such an amount of time per day. They were also the age group more likely to use their social media accounts sporadically: one in ten respondents belonging to this age group was active on social media only once in a week or month, compared to two percent of the 18-24 age group.
