This statistic displays the results of a survey on distribution of leading sport organizations represented in the SportAccord Convention World Sport & Business Summit in 2015 on the responsibility they prescribe to different stakeholders in achieving positive legacy from a sporting event. The 13th edition of the SportAccord Convention was held in Sochi, Russia, creating a forum for representatives of sport, economy, media, suppliers, art and culture. In 2015, it was found that 95 percent of the respondents believed that regional public bodies and local authorities are primarily responsible for achieving positive legacy from a sporting event.
