Mexico: internet users who purchased online 2018

On a survey carried out from April to May of 2018, up to 85 percent of adult internet users said they had purchased something online in the previous twelve months. Only 15 percent of the internet population surveyed stated they had not bought anything online in the same period.

In 2018, digital buyer penetration in Mexico amounted to almost 60 percent. By 2023, the use of e-commerce is expected to reach around 70 percent of the Mexican population.
