In 2023, the total revenue of the newspaper industry in Mexico stood at a little over 1.08 billion U.S. dollars. That year, advertising revenue accounted for 16 percent of that figure. It was forecast that by 2027, newspaper revenue in Mexico would fall below the one-billion-dollar mark.
