South Korea is the leading importer of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the United States by cumulative volumes. Between February 2016 and September 2023 some 1.9 trillion cubic feet of LNG arrived were shipped to South Korean ports. During that period of time, the U.S. exported nearly 17 trillion cubic feet in total.
