Public perception media treatment of Black people in the U.S. 2017, by age group
A survey held in August 2017 in the United States found that adults aged between 18 and 30 years old were most likely to believe that the news media was biased against Black people, with 27 percent holding this view. Meanwhile, just eight percent of adults aged 65 or above felt that the media treated Black people unfairly, and 37 percent felt that Black people were given fair treatment by news outlets.
