Frequency of online or mobile app payment transactions in 2019

This statistic presents the results of a survey regarding the digitalization of the banking and financial sector conducted in Italy in 2019. Individuals were asked about the frequency of their online payment transactions. According to the results, 79 percent of the respondents conducted financial transactions via web or mobile app at least once a month. Some 59 percent stated they executed online payment transactions about once every two weeks. By contrast, eleven percent of the individuals surveyed have never carried out financial transactions online.
