Electricity sales volume for mining Japan FY 2015, by region
The statistic displays the electricity demand of the mining industry in Japan in fiscal year 2015, based on electricity sales, sorted by region. In the measured time period, the Kyushu region had the highest use of electricity in mining with approximately 166 thousand megawatt hours, followed by the Tohoku region with about 163 thousand MWh. Hokuriku recorded the smallest sales amount of electricity with only 281 MWh.
