French medical desert with access to care at the 2016 basic fee
This statistic exposes the share of the French living in medical desert with a supply of care at the tariff of the Social security restricted in February 2016, according to the specialty of the doctor. At that time, more than 50 percent of the French living in a medical desert did not have access to a gynecologist practicing the basic rate of Social Security.
